Adaptive Strength

1-1 Personal Training - $40 CAD

This is a subsidized rate for up to 5 personal training sessions per person. This is made possible thanks to generous local sponsors that understand that strength training is for everyone.

After an initial free consultation, you may buy up to 5 sessions to work with a personal trainer that will help you learn the best way for your body to get stronger and support your specific goals. These can be purchased all at once, or on an individual basis with each booked session.

During these sessions, you will work 1-on-1 with your trainer to work through movements specific to your body's needs, and understand what sustainable strength training may look like for you. This may include transitioning into group classes, working out at your local rec center, training at home, or continuing to work with a personal trainer; you don't need to know right away where you see yourself continuing, as that can be a part of the learning process as you get to know how your body responds to training.

Please note, any communications regarding sessions are to be with your trainer directly; there is a 24 hour cancellation policy for booked sessions, so as much advanced notice is appreciated when rescheduling is required in order to allow your trainer to balance their lives. If less than 24 hours notice is given, your session will be considered used. (We understand emergencies and illness can happen - please let your trainer know, and rescheduling may be available on a case-by-case basis.)

Due to the nature of our non-profit, sponsored spots, and booking gym space, purchases are non-refundable.
