Recalibrate is a 3-week live workshop that teaches you how pain actually works, and gives you the tools to start changing it. We'll work through the entire body, joint by joint, using a functional neurology approach that most pain programs completely miss.

A note before you read any further:
I've changed my mind about how this workshop should work - and I want to tell you why. The more I thought about who needs this most, the clearer it became: the people who would benefit the most from this work are often the exact people who can least afford one more expense. Seniors living on a fixed income. People who have navigated disability their entire lives. People working two or three jobs just to keep the lights on, who are exhausted and in pain and have never had anyone show up specifically for them. Money should not be a barrier to healing. This workshop is yours for whatever feels accessible to you - no application, no income verification, no explanation needed. If you need it, it's yours.
This workshop is for you if:
→ You live with chronic pain and you're tired of managing it instead of changing it
→ You avoid certain movements because you're afraid of making things worse
→ You push through pain because stopping feels like giving up, but nothing gets better

Whether you move a lot or barely at all... if pain is running your life, this is for you.
What makes this different:
Most pain programs focus on the painful area.
Recalibrate doesn't.
Your nervous system is the one interpreting your pain, and it takes input from your whole body, not just the joint that's bothering you. So we work the whole body. Every session, we'll mobilize the area that hurts and all the surrounding regions that might actually be driving the problem.
This is functional neurology applied to real bodies, in real pain, wanting real change.
What You'll Learn:
Week 1: Head, Neck & Upper Body (June 9)
Cervical spine, jaw, eyes, shoulders, ribcage, and breath.
We start here because the nervous system's command centre lives here. Pain and tension in this region shapes everything downstream.
Week 2: Spine & Hips (June 16)
Thoracic and lumbar spine, sacrum, SI joint, hip flexors, and diaphragm.
This is the body's crossroads. Most chronic pain (even in distant areas) has a connection here.
Week 3: Lower Body & Integration (June 23)
Knees, ankles, feet - and a daily practice you can actually maintain.
We close the loop from the ground up and build a sustainable routine you leave with.
Each session: 90 minutes of guided movement and education, followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A.

How the workshop works:
Each session blends education with guided movement.
You'll learn why your nervous system interprets pain the way it does, then you'll feel it shift in your own body during the session. Nothing is high intensity. Nothing requires equipment. Every mobilization is adaptable to your body and your current pain level.
Between sessions, you'll have short optional practices to explore on your own. Not homework, not a workout. Just simple tools to keep reinforcing what you're learning.
You'll arrive each week with new awareness.
You'll leave with tools you can use immediately, and keep using long after the workshop ends.

Marnie Slater is a certified personal trainer and adaptive strength coach, 200-hour yoga instructor, and long-time student of neuroscience-informed movement. Basically: she's a nerd.
